About Convenient Cookery
Chef Jen
Jen Skrinska is a Professionally Trained Chef who has been living on Grand Cayman since the early summer of 2002. Previously as the Chef & Owner of The Greenhouse Café/Restaurant, Chef Jen is known for her use of local products and being able to cater for anybody’s dietary restrictions, lifestyle choices, & allergies.
Her scratch approach to cooking enables the customer to feel more comfortable
knowing where their food came from, that it is fresh, and always homemade with love!
Growing up in farm country in the Midwest in the States gives Chef Jen a unique perspective on how to cook & value the fresh foods that she uses. As the farming culture here is happily expanding, Cayman has more & more to offer year round. When local produce isn't available, only the highest quality imported produce is used, making sure that each dish has the most nutrition. Being on Cayman also provides an awesome opportunity to get out fishing (which she loves) --we can recommend charters that she will prepare your catch for you!
Continually learning & developing recipes from all over the world Chef Jen has a flexible pallet to satisfy various individuals &/or groups of diners. Finding balance & harmony in every meal is important. With true passion & dedication, she designs each meal & menu with love.
